BBS Horses For Sale

Bandit YouTube Video:

 Bandit

Bandit, a 7-year-old Draft Cross Paint gelding. This big, beautiful gelding is the true meaning of safe, dependable, and trustworthy! Bandit has been consistently working the stables and ranch for years. He has been our #1 guide horse and, when there’s a job to be done, Bandit is the horse we count on. He knows both leads, stops, turns, and has been to town on numerous occasions. He has packed rodeo board members through the Sisters Rodeo Parade year after year.  He has also helped break many colts around the ranch and is accustomed to roping, pulling, and handling young horses when the job calls for it. This gelding could excel in so many different aspects — ranch work, trail riding, guiding, parades, rodeo life, or simply being the dependable horse you can trust.

But above all else, Bandit’s greatest quality is that he keeps his rider SAFE.

Hand Made Twice is a black 2018 AQHA mare

“Betty” has been a good mare for us here at Black Butte Stables. She has been ridden around the ranch and has also been one of our producing mares. She is easy to handle in all situations—from catching her in the pasture with a baby by her side to saddling and riding her. Betty loads easily, is good to move from pasture to pasture, and is never a bother. She has been a dependable, easygoing mare to have around.

The only reason we are offering her for sale is that we are headed in a different direction with our breeding program. She was not bred back this year because her colt was injured and they were hauled to our place in town.

She is a good mare with a lot to offer and has been a pleasure for us to own.

Bentley is a 10 year old grade QH gelding. Been there done that attitude and always up for a new challenge. Beginner safe but also fun for advanced riders. Very gentle and friendly. Has experience as a trail horse, starting colts, roping young horses, and arena miles. Not barn or buddy sour. Stays calm in stressful moments. Bentleys the same horse every time you pull him out. Absolutely no buck/rear/run off. Neck reins like a champ and has a solid stop and turnaround. Has had one owner his whole life.
