At Black Butte Stables, photography becomes more than a session—it becomes a story. Set against 

the natural beauty of Central Oregon, our work blends western landscapes with the power, 

elegance, and movement of horses.

From quiet pasture moments to the unforgettable energy of a full herd in motion, each experience is 

designed to feel authentic, cinematic, and timeless.

Photography packages include horse access and location use. Photographers are NOT provided.

Session Options 

The Signature Stampede ~as seen on the cover of High Desert Weddings magazine~ 

• 95+ horses running through pasture w/ mountain backdrop

• Two movement sequences (run-in and run-out) 

Please Note:

For video coverage our drone operator is required (fee separate). Clients are welcome to bring their 

own photographer; coordination with our team is required

The Pasture Session 

• 1 hour session 

• Open pasture setting 

• Mountain backdrop

Experience Notes:

• Ideal during golden hour, though flexible 

• During weddings, guests walk from the lodge to join horses in the pasture (Up to 20 people 

permitted in pasture)

The Mounted Single Horse

• 1 hour session 

• 1 horse with full western tack 

• Mounted + ground portraits 

• Location: Black Butte Stables barn 

Please allow for short travel time from the lodge when planning wedding timelines.

The Mounted Double Horse

• 1 hour session 

• 2 horses with full western tack 

• Mounted + ground portraits 

• Location: Black Butte Stables barn
